Tasting: Arbequina produces delicate extra virgin olive oil that is aromatic and extremely well-balanced, typically showing ripe fruit notes such as apple, banana, and almond, combined with a sweet character, light bitterness, and soft pungency.

Pairing: Delicate salads, especially with fresh greens, citrus, or fruits like pear and apple; white fish, shellfish, and sushi; eggs, mayonnaise, and light dressings; soft cheeses or ripe tomatoes; and pastry and desserts.

The Arbequina olive cultivar originates from Catalonia, Spain, specifically from the town of Arbeca, which gives the variety its name. It has become a global reference thanks to its adaptability, productivity and delicate oil profile. Arbequina trees are medium in size, with a compact, rounded canopy and early, consistent fruiting, which makes them ideally suited for intensive and super-high-density olive growing systems. The variety adapts well to a wide range of soils and climates. The fruit is small and spherical.
